1923-2001. Elmer P. Patrick, 77 passed away on June 22, 2001. Our beloved husband, dad, and granddad has gone to be with the Lord. He was a good Christian man and was loved by all who knew him. Mr. Patrick was a World War II veteran, having served in the US Army. He was a former member of Sandia Baptist Church in Albuquerque, and was currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Belen. A son, Howard Patrick, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the family home in Los Lunas, a son Jerry Patrick and wife, Diane of Albuquerque, his grandsons, Sean Lee Shipman, Timothy Shipman, and Jeremy Patrick; his great grandchildren, Tara Williams, and Shane Shipman, and one sister Annabell Law of Belen. Visitation for Mr. Patrick will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM Monday June 25 at Riverside Funeral Home in Belen. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday June 26, 2001 at the First Baptist Church of Belen with Pastor Calvin Partain officiating. Burial will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens in Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be Sean Shipman, Jeremy Patrick, Timothy Shipman, and Jack Elliott. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home, 418 W. Reinken, Belen.
