Obituary for Standfier

David Neal Standfier, born October 10, 1949 in Albuquerque, went to be with Our Lord Sunday, June 17, 2001. David led a full life with many accomplishments including serving in the Navy and instructing PADI and NAUI Scuba classes. He was also the owner of Tri State Fence Company and a successful general contractor. David, a licensed pilot had passions for travel and adventure as well as relaxation and family activities. He will be missed by his caring wife of 12 years, Deborah; his loving and devoted son, David Thomas; stepdaughter, Colby; and two sisters, Donna Rix and husband, Don and Jeanene Carver and husband, James. David was preceded in death by his father, F.N. ¯Sonny¯ Standfier; mother, Marie Standfier; and his sister, Sandra Allen. Services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Cremation will follow services.
