Obituary for Elliott

Norman Charles Elliott, 78, a resident of Albuquerque for 38 years, died Monday, July 30, 2001. Mr. Elliott was born January 27, 1923 to Beatrice and Frank Elliott. He is survived by his sons, Scot J. Elliott, Steven R. Elliott and wife, Mary; daughter, Pat Jenkins and husband, Fred; daughter-in-law, Helen Elliott; and six grandchildren. Mr. Elliott was married for 49 years to Barbara May (Dozier) Elliott who preceded him death in 1993. He was also preceded in death by a son, Terry L. Elliott in 1988. Mr. Elliott served with the US Army in WWII in the Philippines and Japan. He came home to assume the management of the family grocery business in Breesport, NY, where he participated in many community activities, including the Volunteer Fire Department, coaching Little League Baseball and the Methodist Church. In 1964, Mr. Elliott moved to Albuquerque to serve and care for clients in insurance sales. Memorial Services will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
