Edward J. O'Brien, 84, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Irene O'Brien; and son, James O'Brien. Ed retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after many years of service. He loved playing golf and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. Golfing buddies, acting as honorary pallbearers, are Oscar Ayers, Charles Harper, Leonard Hon, Robert Keck, Will Klattenhoff, Harry Noll, John Norton, and George Sells. Ed was a member of Hiram Lodge, York Rite and the Shrine. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, September 6, 11:00 a.m., at Hiram Lodge 13, 3914 Silver SE.
