Obituary for Nogales

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday June 12, 2001

Louis Nogales Jr. April 27, 1961 - June 12, 2000."Little Louie" you left us one year ago and we miss you so much but take comfort in the fact that after suffering the last few years of your life, the Lord took you home to rest. You were such a big man, never complaining about your pain and you always had a big smile on your face and handshake for everyone you met. The homeless friends you befriended still came around last winter looking for a warm place to sleep and food to eat not knowing you had left us. You led your short life to the fullest knowing you did not want to die, but you knew that was God's will and you accepted it always smiling to the very last. Your kindness to all set a beautiful example especially to all your family and everyone that knew you. All your friends and family will always remember you and we will take care of your "Angelique" knowing that one day we will all be together again. We love you and will never forget you and may you rest in peace after suffering so much in this life. Love, your daughter, Angelique; sister, Teri; brothers, Joey and Freddie; Mom and Dad; nieces and nephews and all of your family.
