Joanne L. Manuel, 67, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, September 17, 2001. She is survived by her sister, Sheila Manuel of New York City, NY. Ms. Manuel was a musician who studied at Indiana University and Julliard School of Music. She played with the Indianapolis Symphony and the Italian Symphony. She taught music in Italy and Brazil. She retired in New Mexico and volunteered her services to Casa Maria by bringing her pet, Daisy to visit the residents. No services are scheduled and private disposition will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in California. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
