Bessie P. Thorne, 89, a longtime Albuquerque resident, died Saturday, October 6, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, George O. Thorne of Albuquerque; sisters, Mildred Furlough of Virginia Beach, VA and Dorothy Joyner of Tavares, FL; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Bessie was loved by all. Memorial services will be held Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Ron Brinkman, officiating.
