Obituary for Phillips

Jack W. Phillips, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, died Friday, October 5, 2001, at home. He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Phillips; children, Nedra A. Swenson and husband, Christopher, Thomas G. Phillips and wife, Cherrii; grandchildren, Tressa Dunn and husband, Dana, Carina and Jennifer Swenson and Carrie Palacios and husband, John; great-grandchild, Dakota Dunn; and nephews, Jack Dragon and James Dragon and wife, Lois. Jack and Eleanor were married February 27, 1949 in Great Falls, MT. He was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Jack was also retired from the Air Force and from APS where he taught US and World History at Valley High School. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 8, 2001, at 11:00 a.m., at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle Blvd. SE, with Revs. Chris and Joyce Lieberman officiating.
