Shawn H. Harshbarger, 36, resident of Espanola, passed away on October 2, 2001. He was a loving, father, son, brother and friend. Shawn is survived by his children, Nicole and Michael Harshbarger of Espanola, NM; parents, Bob and Jane Harshbarger of Albuquerque; brother, Steven W. Harshbarger and wife, Jamie of Pittsburgh, PA; niece, Rachel Harshbarger and nephew, Joshua Harshbarger both of Pittsburgh, PA; children's mother, Trisha Sanchez of Espanola; uncle, William G. Harshbarger and wife, Carol of Duncansville, PA; loving, special friend, Yvette Trujillo and her daughter, Shayla; and special friend, Jim Babich of Los Alamos, NM. Shawn was a loving, caring father. He served six years with the United States Navy on the USS Florida Trident Submarine. Shawn was employed with Los Alamos National Labs. He loved life and lived each day to the fullest. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW, (3 blks North of Paseo Del Norte) with Rev. John E. Schwarting officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church Building Fund, Mesa View United Methodist Church, 4701 Montaño N.W., Albuquerque, NM 87120.
