John G. Rael, 39, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on June 3, 2001 and is now in Heaven with our Lord. John is the beloved husband of five years to Patricia G. Rael. He is also survived by his loving parents, John G. Rael Sr. and Marcy; his sister, Gloria; his grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Baca; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; his mother and father-in-law, Florence and Polo Garcia. John was a member of the Catholic Church. A Prayer Service will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with visitation at the church 6:30 p.m. Sister Marcia, Ann Avalon and Chritine Spahn, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. with final visitation at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Gene Gries, O.Praem, Celebrant of the mass. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Lawrence Garcia, Anthony Lovato, Mike Gutierrez, Johnny Padilla, Jeff Sanchez, Joe Baca and Eddie Salas; Honorary Pallbearers will be, Steve Baca, Art Baca, Sonny Baca, Chuck Martinez, Terry Rael, Mike Duran, Phillip Godinez, Don Dondie, Carlos Nevarez and Clemente Garcia Jr. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
