Donald Johnson, 70, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away May 31, 2001. Donald retired from U.S. West after 32 years. He was born in Hendricks, Minnesota, enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base. He is survived by his wife of 49 1/2 years, Doris Johnson; children, Darrell Johnson of California, Steven Johnson of Albuquerque, Ronald Johnson of California, Steven Johnson of Albuquerque, Ronald Johnson of California and Daren Johnson and wife, Kristy of Albuquerque; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers and sisters, Bernice Mathison, Melton Johnson, Irene Johnson, Glen Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Paul Johnson and Ruth Grengs; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, 3:00 p.m., at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church.
