Obituary for Aragon

Alfonso Aragon, 75, a resident of Valencia, passed away on Friday, June 01, 2001. She was a member of the Guadalupe Catholic Church and a volunteer with the Valencia El Cerro Fire Department for over twenty years. He also served on the board with the same Fire Department. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Dulemia Aragon; brothers, Roldan and Esquiel. Alfonso is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paublita Aragon of the family home; eight children, Juan and his wife, Jude; Patricia Garduno and her husband Leo; Katheryn Perez and her husband, Richard Jr.; Rafael; Evelyn Aragon; Anthony R. and his wife Elizabeth; Michael; Daniel and his wife, Juanita; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Viola Avent and her husband, Clarence; one brother, Nickie; and his aunt Lupita Jaramillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. A Viewing will be held on Monday, June 4 at 6:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 6:30 PM at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church in Valencia. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 5 at 10:00 AM also at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church. Romero Funeral Home, Belen, NM
