Cyndie L. Tafoya, 42, a life long resident of Albuquerque passed away May 31, 2001. She was born September 5, 1958. She is survived by her husband, Tony Tafoya; son, Jonathan Guiney; daughter, Jolie Tafoya; parents, John and Ann Guiney all of Albuquerque; two sisters-Carol Brusca of Albuquerque and Gretchen and husband, Dr. Douglas Slaughter of NY, NY; two brothers, John Guiney and wife, Andrea of Chandler, AZ and Laurence Guiney and wife, Jo of Albuquerque; one grandchild-Connor Guiney of Albuquerque; two nephews- Giovanni Brusca and Christian Guiney of Albuquerque; one niece, Erin Guiney of Chandler, AZ also by numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be at the First Congregational Church 2801 Lomas Blvd NE at 2:00 pm Saturday June 2, 2001 with Randy Deckwirth officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cyndie Tafoya Memorial Fund in c/o Escuela Del Sol Montessori 1114 7th St. NW. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE is in charge of arrangements.
