Anna D. Michele passed away on January 21, 2001. She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1953. Anna is survived by her sister, Mary Louise Graziano and husband, Rocco; nieces, Stephanie Ann Hills and husband, Joseph and son, Aza, Roxanne Person and husband, Russ and daughter, Lucia; nephews, Nicholas Barzona and wife, Jan and daughter, Rachael, Michael Barzona and daughter, Mia all residing in PA. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Dad, Mr. and Mrs. Domenic Michele, brother, Angelo Michele, sister, Thomasine Barzona, and brother-in-law, Nicholas Barzona, Sr. She was a retiree of Sandia National Laboratories; served in the Navy in WWII; a member of WAVES National, Past President of Professional Secretaries International and served as a volunteer for a number of years for the Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, 2621 Vermont, NE with Father Ronald Buckner Celebrant. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Columbarium, Arlington, VA 22211. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Women in Military Service for America Memorial Foundation, Dept. 560, Washington, DC 20042-0560, Cancer Society or contributions for Mass cards may be made at Annunciation Parish.
