Thomas Lee Spurlin, 72, passed away at home January 23, 2001. He was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his sons, Danny Spurlin, Ernest Gonzales, and daughter, Sue Leslie, and is survived by his wife of 22 years, Celia Spurlin; children, Anthony Spurlin, Sharon Timms and husband, Wayne, Gail Hambrick and husband, Bob, Shannon Fay, Tanya Spurlin, Nick Gonzales and wife, Millie, Trinnie Keithley and husband, Bob, Rosalie Gonzales and husband, Ben, Maurice Michelson and husband, Lee Erickson, Judy Gonzales, Jimmy Gonzales, Gloria Patrick and husband, Don, Tony Gonzales and wife, Millie; daughters-in-law, Jennie Gonzales and Karen Spurlin; son-in-law, Tom Leslie; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoluem Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2001, with burial following. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
