Obituary for Lewis

Pauline D. Lewis, 81, born May 10, 1919 in Winslow, Arizona, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the morning of January 23, 2001. She is survived by four sons, James William Lewis, Jr., and wife Alberta of Los Lunas, Walter E. Lewis of Dallas, Texas, Joseph Samuel Lewis and wife Melissa, John Paul Lewis all of Tularosa; three daughters, Pauline Holloway and husband James of Brownwood, Texas, Winky Gibson and husband John, Kathy Heffran and husband Mike all of Silver City; twenty grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren. Pauline lived many years in Albuquerque and Corrales and moving to Alamogordo from 1977 through 1991. She then moved to Silver City to be close to her daughters. She was a loving mother and bold witness for christ with everyone she met, her kindness and caring was unsurpassed. She will be missed by all. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband James William Lewis in 1973, granddaughter Robin Gaylene in 1967 and an infant son in 1953. Viewing and visitation will be held at the Grace Outreach Church, 2900 Southern Rio Rancho, NM on Friday 26, 2001, with viewing from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and services beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park with James W. Lewis Jr., Walter E. Lewis, Joseph S. Lewis, John P. Lewis, James Holloway and John Gibson serving as casket bearers.
