Grace L. Richard, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, passed away at her home on January 20, 2001. She was born on June 1, 1928 in Wolverton, MN, the daughter of Lars and Kari Nygaard. She is survived by her husband, Daniel F. Richard, whom she married on December 27, 1948 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Fargo, ND. She is also survived by three sons, Ronnie Richard, his wife Tina, sons, Ryan, Aaron, and daughter, Corey; Allen Richard, sons, Donovan, AJ and daughter, Faith; and Randy Richard; two daughters, Barbara Andre and her husband, Michael; Jennifer Millard and daughter, Danielle, and son, Joseph, all of Albuquerque; brother, Allen Nygaard, of Bellfield, ND; and sister, Pearl Lange, of Minneapolis, MN; nieces, nephews and other family members including Rosie Flath, Ilene Morrosetti, Ramona Owen, Jimmy Rowen and Pauline Frahm; and best friend, Jeannie Faifer. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 24, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE, with Father Anthony Bolman, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Grace's memory to Loving Hands of Hospice, 5400 Gibson SE, Bldg 18, 87108. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors are in charge of her arrangements.
