O.D. Nunn, age 81, beloved husband of Ruby died at home on Friday, January 12, 2001. They had been married for 55 years. O.D. (Don) was born June 19, 1919 in Dierks, Arkansas. He served his country in both WW II and the Korean Conflict, first in the Army Air Corp and later in the US Army. He lived numerous places in his life, but chose to spend his retirement years here close to his family; a daughter, Carol Cook; his grandchildren, Terry Cook married to Hugh Giggy, Karen Cook married to Clarence Romero, Patty Cook married to Matt Martin and Jay Cook married to Alyson Blake; his great-grandchildren include, Lt. Todd Giggy of the USAF, Patrick Giggy currently a senior at the USAFA, Kristin Arellano married to Jesse Mayer, and APD officer, Seth Arellano, currently residing in California, Jeremy Martin and Wilder Cook. A Private Ceremony was held for the family at graveside on Tuesday, at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
