Obituary for Villane

Gerald "Jerry" Villane passed away Thursday, October 11, 2001 after a brave battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Villane; three children from his first marriage with Carmella Villane, Michael Villane and wife, Cheryl of Corinth, TX, Susan Linhart and husband, Mac of San Angelo, TX, and Scott Villane and wife, Candy of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Aimee and Valerie Villane, Jeff Sill, Alexandria and Lucas Linhart; and brother, Joseph Villane and wife, Virginia of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Catherine Villane and brother, Jimmy Villane. Jerry was born January 20, 1932 in Milford, NH. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Currituck. Jerry was employed at Sandia National Laboratories from 1958 to 1988. Following his retirement from Sandia, he was employed with the US Air Force at Kirtland AFB until 1996. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo Del Norte NE (just east of Eubank), with Rev.
