Refugia "Rey" Dominguez, 90, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2001. She was very active in San Rafael Catholic Church, as well as belonging to the Sacred Heart Order of San Rafael. She was also on the Senior Center Board for over 30 years, and she was very involved in the Senior Olympics. She was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Dominguez in 1965, and her son Herman Dominguez on November 4, 2000. She is survived by six sons; Odie Dominguez and wife, Sophie of Grants, Bernie Dominguez and wife, Lila of Gallup, Eloy Dominguez and wife, Audrey of Oxnard, CA, Richard Dominguez and wife, Theresa of Grants; two daughters, Shirley Gonzales and husband, Santiago of Grants Annie Chavez and husband, Anthony of Arlington, TX; daughter-in-law, Mary Dominguez (wife of Herman); 36 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Trinne Medina and husband, Louis of Grants, many other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at San Rafael Catholic Church, with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday April 29,2001and with Mass at 10:00am Monday April 30,2001. Pallbearers will be: Frankie Dominguez, Odie Dominguez Jr., Bernie Dominguez Jr., Christopher Gonzales, Joey Dominguez Jr., James Gonzales Felicia Dominguez, Angela Chavez, and Kristina Dominguez.
