Padilla -- Angelina"Angie" Padilla, 67, a life-long resident of the Albuquerque area, born and raised in Carnuel, died Saturday, October 24, 1998. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joe Paul Padilla; sons, Bobby Padilla, Sr. and wife, Angela, and Dean Padilla and wife, Suzanna, all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Jonathan Padilla and wife, JoAnn, and Bobby Padilla, Jr., all of Albuquerque; great-grandson, Bobby Elijah Padilla of Albuquerque; sister, Senaida Jinzo; brothers, Eddie Garcia and wife, Mary and Andy Garcia, all of Carnuel; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Padilla is preceded in death by her parents, Acario and Franciscia Garcia. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mrs. Padilla loved to play bingo and loved to go to Las Vegas with her husband, Joe Paul. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all. Rosary will be Monday, October 26, at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd Chapel, 7:00 p.m., with Jimmy Rael reciting. Friends may visit Monday from 6:30 p.m. until the Rosary begins. Procter -- John"Jack" E. Procter, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on October 23, 1998, after a courageous but short battle with cancer. Born April 13, 1925, in New York City, he retired from US West in 1982 after 36 years of service. A World War II Air Force veteran, he was a member of the Del Norte Gun Club, the Gun Collector's Association and the Telephone Pioneers. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Valentine; and daughters, Kathleen Lowe and husband, Richard; Denise Politano and husband, Louis, Dorothy Leake and husband, Terry, and Lisa King; as well as a son, William and wife, Joyce. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rev. Donald Neidigk officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Presbyterian Hospice for their kindness and assistance. Richmond -- Eugene Patrick Richmond, Jr., 34, died Thursday, October 22, 1998, in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Richmond was a graduate of Freehold Township High School in New Jersey. He is survived by his father, Eugene Patrick Richard, Sr., of Freehold, NJ; mother, Ida Richmond of Scottsdale, AZ; 5 brothers, Albert Nevarez, Robert Nevarez, Jr., James Richmond, Thomas Richmond and Joseph Richmond; 2 sisters, Delilah Nelms and Teresa Richmond Casades; and grandmother, Margarite Richmond. Rose -- Arthur C. Rose passed away Friday, October 23, 1998. He was 81 years old. A resident of Albuquerque for 44 years, he retired from FAA after 35 years of service. He served in the US Army in the Pacific during WWII. Mr. Rose is survived by Mary, his wife of 57 years. Also surviving are four daughters, Frances Brooks and husband, John, Martha Kersting and husband, Al, Bobette Rose and husband, Walter Bargen, and Robin Eskridge; as well as 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Bobette Hanley. A Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. A Reception will follow after the service. Wade -- Douglas Wade born March 25, 1962 died October 17, 1998. Beloved son of Frances Lavender-Fish and John L. Wade. Beloved brother of Corbett Wade, John Phillip Wade, Felicia Hale, Preston Destea, Peter Destea, and Leo Destea. Beloved Uncle of Rebecca and Sean Garrett, Erin Joyner-Wade, Benjamin and Cyrus Wade, Donella Rael, Joshua and Casey Hale, and Keianna Destea-Ross. A personality who left us before we were ready, leaves many wonderful memories. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 27, 1998 at 5:00 p.m. at 1101 Indian School Road, Albuquerque. Anaya -- Abel Anaya, Sr. AUGUST 7, 1910 - OCTOBER 22, 1998 Mr. Abel Anaya, Sr., 88, passed away Thursday. He was born in Tajique, New Mexico and was a resident of Albuquerque. Mr. Anaya is survived by his wife of 67 years, Juanita; son, Laco Anaya, Sr. and his wife, Priscilla, Ben Anaya and his wife, Emily, Abel Anaya, Jr. and his wife, Alice, Sam Anaya and his wife, Carol of Los Lunas, Carmel and his wife, Carmela, Nario and his wife, Rosalie; daughters, Lita Cruz, Bea Varela and her husband, Eddie; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Chapel of Riverside Funeral Care Center in Los Lunas. A Rosary will be recited at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Albuquerque on Sunday at 7:00 p.m., and a Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Estancia. Interment will follow at the Estancia Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. David Hauffuman and the 8th Floor Nursing Staff of Lovelace Hospital for the care and kindness given at this most difficult time. Cardon -- Esther B. Cardon, 64, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, died Thursday, October 22, 1998. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Emilio B. Cardon of Albuquerque; daughter, Amelia Montoya and husband, David; sons, David Cardon, Raymundo Cardon, Emilio Cardon, Jr. and Andy Cardon, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, David J., Lilly Ann, Crystal Ann, Jesus and Valerie Ann Montoya and Felisha, Terra, Samantha and Jonathan Cardon; great-grandchildren, Justin A. Cardon, Tiandra Yarbrough and Dasha Wilson; father, Nicanor J. Benavidez; sisters, Elodia Garcia and Odeila Monsivaiz; brothers, Pat Benavidez and Elias Benavidez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cardon was preceded in death by her son, Freddy Cardon in 1992. Dyck -- Alfred Dyck, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Tuesday, October 20, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Helen E. Dyck of the family home; sons, Stanley Dyck and wife, Donna of Albuquerque and Robert Dyck and wife, Belinda of Warsaw, MO; daughters, Pamela Oliver and husband, David of Albuquerque, and Carol Rampon and husband, Jeff of Richland, WA; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Eleanor Arbuthnot, Evelyn Waybright and Twyla Mae Smith and husband, Fred, all of Liberal, KS; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie. He served his country during WWII and belonged to the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. For many years, he worked for Montgomery Ward and American Furniture. Services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
