Elrod -- Ralph E. Elrod, 71, of Amarillo, died suddenly Thursday, Jan 11, 2001 in Temple Texas. He married Fay Rigdon in 1950 at Amarillo, Texas. Mr Elrod was a retired wholesale hardware salesman, working most of his career with Amarillo Hardware. Mr. Elrod moved his family to Albuquerque in 1965, he and his wife moved back to Texas in 1976. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike Elrod of Las Cruces, N.M., and Kent Elrod of Albuquerque; two sisters, Ruby Holzapfel of San Antonio, Texas and Eudora Hill of Delta, LA; and two grandchildren, Amy and Aaron. He will be remembered by loved ones for his devotion to and love for his wife and children. Everyone that knew him admired his integrity and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Emery -- Sharon Kay Emery, 51, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, January 18, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Silva and husband, Edward of Moriarty, NM; four granddaughters; three grandsons; and mother, Helen Emery of Albuquerque. Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Arrowood; and father, Charles Emery. Cremation has taken place and private services will take place at a later date. Fisher -- Genevieve Hall Fisher, 68, passed away on January 15, 2001, in the family home. She was born July 21, 1932 in Albuquerque to Robert and Laurel Hall. Gen led a very full and eventful life. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, William B. fisher; her brother, James D. Hall; her five children, Julia Harmon and husband, Jon of Manhattan Beach, CA, Glenn Smith and wife, Lorraine of Bernalillo, Dirk Smith of Manchester, CT, Genia Muniz of Albuquerque, and Kathy Bisson and husband, Jim of Littleton, CO; and also twelve grandchildren, Gen was active in the First Presbyterian Church, and at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church as Children's Choir Director, Chancel Choir member and Women's Association, and was President of Martineztown House of Neighborly Service Auxiliary Board, as well as other volunteer positions too numerous to mention. Services were held at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, 1801 Montano Road, NW, on Saturday, January 20, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shepherd of the Valley Capital Building Fund. French -- Ruby French, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for 52 years, died Friday, January 19, 2001. She is survived by two sons, James Leslie French of Lithia Springs, GA, and Jerry French and wife, Ann of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jeanne Gonzales and husband, Greg of Albuquerque, Ron Foster and wife, Donna of Meridian, ID, Janet Rivera and husband, Gil of Albuquerque, Janice Prager and husband, Doug, of Germany, Chris French of Rio Rancho, Eileen McIlwain of Tampa, Fl; great-grandchildren, Stephen and Robbie Rivera, Jenny, Joshua and Daniel Prager, Kevin, Christopher and Cameron Foster, Sara and Clayton Gonzales and Jenny and Bobby McIlwain; sisters, Helen Wilson of North Platte, NE, Peggy Myers and husband, Jim of Overland Park, KS, Anna Grace Cox of Kansas and Mary Greene of Shawnee Mission, KS; brother, Russell Case and wife, Lois of Shawnee, KS; and sister-in-law, Ruby Case of Moberly, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jim C. French; parents, Les and Carrie Case of Sedalia, MO; and brother, Wilbur Case of Moberly, MO. She was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. Services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor J. Curtis Goldman officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Gurule -- James Gurule, 53, went home to our Lord on January 17, 2001. James is survived by his mother, Mary Gurule; son, James Gurule Jr. and wife, Sarah; brother, Hermeno"Melle" Gurule Jr.; three sisters, Flora Mora and husband, Tommy, Lupe Torrez, and Rosanne Fraire. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, James and Julianna. James will be deeply missed by his loving family. Visitation will be held at the Garcia Chapel on 8th Street from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. this evening, with a Recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Hartt -- Eufelia Hartt ,89, passed away in Albuquerque January 19, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dumas Hartt, sister, Falconerez Rogers, brothers, Ramon Garcia and David Rodarte. Eufelia is survived by her niece, Sally Huddleston and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved and will miss her. She lived many years of her life in Grants, NM., and had many friends there. Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Alameda, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2001. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2001, with burial following at Grants Memorial Park Cemetery, Grants, NM.
