Chavez -- In Loving Memory of JOHN EDWARD CHAVEZ January 13, 1961 - April 16, 1997One year has gone by, John, but not without endless tears, doubts of faith, desires of revenge, and unanswered questions. We sometimes ask ourselves why? Because we loved you as much as we could while you were alive, and you loved us much more than that. You left us, John, but you did not leave before you helped each of us more than once. You showed unending kindness to us, your family, as well as friends and strangers. We thank God for giving us the time we did have with you, John, but we wanted more. It is still too difficult to say goodbye, but through the strength of our families and God, we have become stronger and will continue to live for your daughter because through her we still have a part of you. We will always love you, John. Your Family
