Troyce A. Heard, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1940, died on Monday, April 23, 2001. He was born in Marietta, Texas on September 21, 1912. Troyce was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Denson Heard and Ira Vela Wallace Heard; older brother Baxter and younger brothers, John and Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, of Albuquerque; sons, Charley and wife, Linda of Castle Rock, Colorado, Troy and wife, Susie of Prattville, Alabama, and Alvin and wife, Linda of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Virginia and husband, Gary of Lake Mary, Florida; brother, Carney and wife, Tomasita of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; sisters, Bonnie Ruth Gregory of Carlsbad, and Irma Dean Smith of Tucson, Arizona; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends in his church and community. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2001, 3:00 p.m. at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, I-40 and San Mateo NE. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd N.E.
