Kathleen (Kathy) A. Romero, 55, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Friday, November 30, 2001. Kathy was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, She is survived by two sons, James Richard Romero, Jesse John Romero; one daughter, Annie Marie Garcia; two grandchildren, Loretta M. and Desiree M. Garcia. Also surviving are two sisters, Frances Atencio and Eileen Garcia; three nieces, Charlene Atencio, Mandolyn Atencio, Bernadette Garcia; two nephews, Greg Garcia and Patrick Garcia and family. Kathy will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Rudy Ramirez, Leo Chavez, Annie Garcia, Frances Atencio, Carlos Baca, and Shamon Cordova. Funeral Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street NW.
