Obituary for Oehm

Henry H. "Hank" Oehm, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Sunday, December 2, 2001. Henry is survived by his wife, Terry; daughter, Sally Johnson and husband David, of Oxnard, CA; son, Michael H. Oehm of California; grandson, Michael A. Oehm of Sumner, WA; brother Herman Oehm and wife, Mary Ann of Sun City, CA; step-daughter Elena Giacci and husband, Gary Corbett; step-son David Giacci and Debbie Saad; 6 grandchildren, J.D., Nikki, Tony, Brittany, Christian and Grayson. Henry was born in Rodgen, Germany on August 4, 1921, immigrated to the United States in 1925, and was raised in Los Angeles. He served in the Army in WWII, and lived in Phoenix until 1968. Mr. Oehm was maintenance engineer for the Fred Harvey Corporation at the Grand Canyon for four years, then for the AMFAC Hotel until retiring in 1987. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2001, 3:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Humane Association of NM, Inc., 615 Virginia SE, 87108 or to Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center, 1025 Hermosa SE, 87108.
