Dorothy A. Shelton, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Saturday, May 19, 2001. She is survived by her son, Rev. Ira J. Shelton and wife, Diane; daughter, Pat D. Lindley and husband, Bob, all of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Melissa Miller, Todd Lindley and wife, Patty, Jason Lindley, Stacey Hunter and husband, Jeff, Doug Shelton and Lisa Shelton; four great-grandchildren, Justin Miller, Chase Miller, Brittney Lindley and Jarrod Lindley; brother, Raymond Daniel and wife, Winona of Woodlands, TX, Gerald Daniel of Conroe, TX, Edward Daniel and wife, Betty of Montgomery, TX and Lowrey Daniel and wife, Johnnie of Tyler, TX; and sister-in-law, Lena Rae Jones of Austin, TX. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Shelton in 2000 and a granddaughter, Sarah Shelton. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Rev. Ira Shelton officiating. Pallbearers will be Todd Lindley, Jason Lindley, Bob Lindley, Jeff Hunter, Doug Shelton and Ira Shelton. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
