Elaine Cordova, 27, went home to the Lord on May 17, 2001. She is the daughter of Ubaldo and Florela Cordova, granddaughter of Ernesto and Maria Candelaria. She is survived by her fiance, Gilbert Archibeque; son, Benito Fredrico Ortega; daughter, Jasmine Archibeque. Brothers: Adan Sedillo and wife Theresa; Benny Sandoval and wife Laura; Sisters: Mary Juarez and husband Tony; Charlotte Ramkowsky and husband Edward. Godmother, Barbara Guiterrez. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. An evening Prayer Service for Ms. Cordova will be held Sunday, May 20th at 5:00 p.m. in the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Final Viewing will be on Monday, May 21, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. also in the mortuary chapel. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Benny Sandoval, Robert Archibeque, Christopher Juarez, Nicholas Joe, Anthony Marquez, and Anton Miera.
