Edmen James Eaton , 77, went to be with the Lord May 16, 2001. He was born in Animas, NM April 4, 1924 to Franklin and Annie Eaton. Mr. Eaton was a long time resident of Cuba, NM., working as a logger. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pearl Eaton; first wife, Maxine Rose; sons, William James Eaton Sr. and wife, Phyllis, Frank Eaton and wife, Willie; daughters, Annie Lundin, Patricia Malcolm and husband, Wayne; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Lee Eaton and wife, Dottie; mother-in-law, Victoria Sallings and many who called him"Grand Pa Ed"; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall in Cuba on Saturday, May 19, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Baptist Cemetery, with Luke Taylor, Bill Scott, Joe White, Bobby Putt, Buzzie Warren, and Camron Scott serving as pallbearers.
