Obituary for Soltau

Dorothy Louise Kirby Rosazza Soltau, 81, a resident of Belen, NM and formerly of Hopewell, VA, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leonard Soltau of Belen; daughter, Suzanne Embree and husband, Joseph of Belen; son, Karl Rosazza and wife, Barbara of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jack Rosazza and wife, Traci, Jenny Rosazza, Jessica Rosazza, Chad Kersten, Kevin Kersten and wife, Jacqueline, and Brenda Catanach and husband, Manuel; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Kevin, LeeAnne, and Tyler; and brothers, Thomas C. Kirby Sr. and wife, Mary of Daleville, VA and Luther H. Kirby of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her son, Hoyt Soltau, and brother and sisters. Mrs. Soltau was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Friday, May 18, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Karl Rosazza, Roy Lemon, Jack Rosazza, Kevin Kersten, Manuel Catanach, Joseph Embree, and Chad Kersten. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Friday, May 18, 2001, 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
