Obituary for Crespy

Lorraine Crespy, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died on Monday, May 14, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harry J. Crespy; sons and daughters-in-laws, Harry Adam and Dale of Saline, MI, Charles Thomas and Leigh of Oxford, OH and R. Joel and Julie of Albuquerque; sisters, Katherine Alles of Lincoln, NE and Marie Wennersten of Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joeline Gies and brother, Robert Gies. A devoted mother, Lorraine served as an Air Force wife with her husband in multiple stations across America before finally settling in Albuquerque. A life-long advocate of participation in the political process, Lorraine dedicated years to registering voters in Bernalillo County. A beautiful wife and devoted, loving mother, may her efforts on earth be rewarded in heaven. Services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd N.E. with Rev. Clyde Standfield, officiating. A private interment will follow.
