Amanda P. Lovato, 15, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on May 12, 2001. Amanda is the loving daughter of Frances and her step father, Josh. She is also survived by her brother, Dario Lovato Jr. (DJ.); her grandparents, Jim and Lilia Brito, Laura Aragon and Paul and Lydia Gonzales; her great grandparents, Refugio Martinez, Bernardita Armijo, Lorenzita Madrid and Mike and Florence Brito; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Dario Lovato, grandfather, David Lovato, Great grandfather, Joe Armijo and a step grandfather, Pedro Martinez. Amanda was a member of the Catholic Church and a 9th grade student at West Mesa High School. A Rosary willl be recited Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Gabriella Nieto, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with final viewing at the church after 10:30 a.m. Father Manuel Viera, celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernest Martinez, Leon Urioste, Carlos Rocha, James Phipps, Anthony Chavez and Lorene Gonzales. Honorary will be Dario Lovato Jr. (D.J.) Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
