Neal Wiggans, 83, resident of Albuquerque since 1941, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lena Mae Wiggans; son, Jim Wiggans and wife, Kathleen; granddaughter, Nicole Radigan and husband, William; grandson, Scott Wiggans; brother, Marvin Wiggans and wife, Connie, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Lorene Mullen of Brea, CA, and Sara Edwards of Topeka, KS. Mr. Wiggans was a member and former Elder of the Monte Vista Christian Church. He was the first President of the Sunport Optomist Club, and a past President of the Volcano Cliffs Property Owners Association. Mr. Wiggans owned and operated the Neal Wiggans Company. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE, with Rev. Fred Dorisse officiating. Private entombment will follow. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandia Inpatient Hospice, 4775 Indian School Rd.
