Obituary for Knight

Pauline Elizabeth Knight, 84, passed on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. Mrs. Knight graduated from Evart High School in 1933. She worked in Experimental Engineering at AC from 1934 to 1946. In 1937, she married Vernon Welter and had one son, Karl. Vernon was killed in World War II in 1945. A year later she married Frank Knight. In 1965 to 1972, she worked at the Flint's Journal in Flint, MI in the Classified Department. She then moved to Rio Rancho and worked as supervisor in Classifieds at the Albuquerque Journal from 1972 to 1986. Mrs. Knight was a member of Swartz Creek O.E.S, #430, and Rio Rancho Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Karl Welter of Apache Junction, AZ; Frank Knight III and wife, Cindy of Albuquerque, and Jim Knight and wife, Ellie of Albuquerque; five grandsons, Frank, Andy, Kyle, Chris, and Jeff; one granddaughter, Molly; two nieces, Prudy Jacoby of Davison, MI and Kathy Koch of Flint, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Knight Jr. in 1987. Services will be held Friday, March 9, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, MI. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, c/o Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, P.O.
