Celso Gonzales, 78, a lifelong resident of New Mexico went home to the Lord on March 7, 2001. He was born in Belen, New Mexico, to the late Salomon Gonzales and Maria Alfides Rael Gonzales on September 4, 1922. Celso is survived by his sister, Griselda Gonzales Toledo; aunt, Felipita (Lipa) Rael Espinosa; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his loving family. Visitation for Mr. Gonzales will be held at Garcia Mortuary on Friday, March 9, 2001 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.. A Rosary will be recited at St. Edwin's Cathlolic Church at 5:00 p.m. Friday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edwin's on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Belen Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Salo Gonzales, Miguel Toledo, Barney Gonzales, Rosendo Gonzales, Lorenzo Alderete, and Allen Gonzales.
