On July 23, 2001 the angels came for Josephine Meador, our beloved mom, grandma and great-grandma. She passed away peacefully after enjoying many years of her finest pastimes such as gambling, smoking and two daily Budweisers. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Alvarez and husband, Benjamin; granddaughters, Ursula A. Farinelli and Kathrya Mares; two great-grandsons, Kevin and Colton; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Meador in 1964. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 25, 2001 7:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Exposition Chapel, 1818 Coal Pl. Private burial of cremains will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Family and friends, she requested that flowers not be sent. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Lovelace Hospice, 5400 Gibson Blvd. SE, 87108 or St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, 87106.
