Larry D. Moreno, 48, beloved and devoted husband, son and brother was called home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 9, 2001. Larry was a life long resident of Bernalillo. He was preceded in death by his mother Ricardita Moreno; and a brother in law Roger Chavez. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Maria Moreno of the family home; his father, Filiberto Moreno; four brothers, Richard Moreno and wife Irene, Marcos Moreno and wife Dolores, Benny Moreno and wife Cordy, Michael Moreno all of Bernalillo; three sisters, Dolores Rasmusson, Eileen Garbagni and husband Johnnie all of Bernalillo and Margaret Armijo and husband Luis of Albuquerque. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Larry will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Visitations will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Rick Moreno, Robert Moreno, Dale Praire, Ralph Chavez, Mark Chavez, and George Gullien, Jr. Honorary bearers will be Mel Chavez, Charlie Moreno, Joseph Moreno, James Baca, and Ruben Chavez.
