Obituary for Wilson

Floyd Edward Wilson, 93, beloved father and grandfather passed away Friday, July 20, 2001. Mr. Wilson served in the Merchant Marines, during World War II, from 1941 to 1944; he was an avid gardener and fisherman; his great love was dancing; he was an active member of the Solo Club. To his dear friends and neighbors at Carlisle Plaza Mobile Home Park he says"farewell and thank you". He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Wilson; and a daughter, Myra Alice Thomas. He is survived by three loving daughters, Delanor Parrott of Indian River, MI, Jacqueline Rolfe and husband, David of Belen, and Judy Westerfeld and husband, Gus of Corrales; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and those who knew and loved him. Private Services have taken place at Sunset Memorial Park. Funeral Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street NW.
