Egripino Griego went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2001. Mr. Griego was born in San Jose, NM on May 4, 1915. Mr. Griego was a life long member of the D.A.V. and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. He also liked Gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years Flavia Griego that passed away in 1995. He is survived by his five sons, Jim Griego and wife, Geraldine, Thomas Griego, Alfred Griego and wife, Zandra, Henry Griego and wife, Sylvia and Gregory Griego and wife, Madelon; brothers and sisters, Vivian Griego, Ann Madrid, Paulie Bustamante, Tito Griego and Clorendia Nava; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitations will be held Monday, November 5, 2001 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Griego Jr., Rudy Griego, Christopher Griego, David Griego, Michael Griego and Brian Griego. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave SW 243-5222.
