Obituary for Cone

Caline B. Cone, a resident of Albuquerque since 1938, died peacefully October 31, 2001. Born in Hereford, TX on February 21, 1918, Caline was the only child of Frank Bone and Mary Louise Syler Bone. She attended St. Mary's Academy in Amarillo, TX and married Adrian Jiles (A.J.) Cone in 1936. Together, Caline and A.J. moved to Albuquerque, raised four children, and operated a business, Cone Electric. Later in life, Caline enjoyed working as an administrative assistant at the U.S. Forest Service. Caline is remembered as a stylish lady, courageous, independent and sensitive. Her love of life was displayed by her attention and dedication to her family, friends and animals. Caline was preceded in death by her husband; and by two daughters, Louise Chism and Debra Anderson. She is survived by a son, Robert Frank; a daughter, Mary Adrienne, both of Albuquerque; as well as 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Caline lived at Laurel Gardens/St. Francis Gardens for several years before she died and enjoyed the care and companionship of their dedicated staff. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Chapel, 1900 Edith NE. Ennichement will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
