Obituary for Romero

Camille Romero, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Wednesday, October 24, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Carol G. Johnson of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Sam Johnson and wife, Elizabeth of Tulelake, CA and Carolyn Johnson of Sheppard AFB, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew Johnson and Susan Johnson, both of Tulelake, CA. Mrs. Romero was preceded in death by her son, Claude Romero. She retired from the Albuquerque Public Schools where she taught 5th grade at several local elementary schools. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 29, 2001 at 9:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW, with Father William King, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of NM, 216 Truman NE, 87108. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
