Obituary for Anaya

Mr. Tony C. Anaya, 81, a resident Albuquerque passed away on Octobet 23, 2001 peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family. Mr. Anaya is the beloved husband of 63 years to Mrs. Beatrice Anaya. He is also survived by his loving children, Geraldine Trujillo and husband, Carlos, Antonia Chavez and husband, Manuel, Jack Anaya, Romulo Anaya and wife, Arlene, Lucille Anaya, Jeanette Roybal and husband, Rick, Dora Henry and husband, Jose, Delfino Anaya and wife, Donna; four sisters, Tommie Muller, Mary Galvan, Nancy Muller and Angie Cardenas and husband husband, Leo; one brother, Jack C. Anaya and wife, Margie; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Anaya was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Anaya and Andy Anaya; a sister, Fela Ulibarri; a granddaughter, Cynthia Cordova; great-granddaughter, Crystal Trujillo; great-grandsons, Cielito and Antonio Anaya. Mr. Anaya was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World WAR II, he loved his family, loved dancing, singing, fishing and camping. Visitation for Mr. Anaya will be Friday morning after 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. by the Altar Rosary Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Daniel Balizan. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Joseph Anaya, Tony Chavez, Clay Henry, Noah Roybal, Steven Montoya and Carlos Trujillo Jr. Honorary will be Kenneth Chavez, Jeremy Anaya, Jack Anaya Jr., Jared Roybal, Jude Roybal and Sergio Henry. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
