Carl E. Drew, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, died on Monday, March 19, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Bernice L. Drew of Albuquerque; daughters, Laurel Drew of Albuquerque and Marjorie Achong and husband, Robert of Tucson, AZ; grandson, R. Drew Achong of Perry, OK; granddaughter, Tamara U. Griffus and husband, Lawrence of Tucson, AZ; great-granddaughter, Sierra Griffus , also of Tucson; niece, Jean Finn of Dana Point, CA; and sister-in-law, Doris Driver of Denver, CO. Carl was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and of the Sanado Golf Group. Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2001, 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 7701 Candelaria Rd. NE with Pastor Greg Werdin and Pastor Wilbur Klattenhoff, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE Thursday, March 22, 2001 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church and School, 7701 Candelaria NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 909 Virginia NE, #109, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
