Leo Michael Duran, infant son of Stacey and Leo; and brother of Deanna passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2001 in Albuquerque after a lifelong battle with cancer. Leo is survived by his grandparents, Betty Trujillo and Joe Duran, Debbie and Henry Chavez; great-grandpa, Clyde "Papa" Giroux; and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins. During his short 16 1/ 2 months of life, he touched many people and brought much joy and happiness. Funeral Arrangements are through Metropolitan Direct Burial, 729 San Mateo Blvd. NE with visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2001. Services will be at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John, 318 Silver Ave. SW on Monday, October 15, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. with interment immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Nicholas Thompson (his best buddy), Gregory Thompson, Sean Montoya and Devin Griego.
