Augius "Aug" Narbutas, 53, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, died Saturday, October 6, 2001, at his home in Placitas. He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Ona Narbutas; and brother, Paulius Narbutas and wife, Dalia Narbutiene, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by many cousins in Lithuania and America; and his close friends, Kelly Cosandaey and Barry Svalberg. Mr. Narbutas served the State of New Mexico for 25 years, retiring as a Cabinet Deputy Secretary. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 13, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel Avenue NE, with Father Antonio Mondragon, Celebrant. Cremation will follow services. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Friday, 5:00 p.m .to 8:00 p.m.
