William C. "Bill" Michaluk, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1966 died November 5, 2001. Bill is survived by his wife, Marge of Albuquerque; daughters, Lorraine Luning of Endwell, NY, Elena Jane Brigham of Goldenview, VA, Nadine Lou Boncek of Enicott, NY; sister, Lucy Roth of Tavaret, FL; two grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer. He was in the U.S. Army and served in the European Theater with the 838th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, he was a member of the VFW Post 401 the American Legion Post 49, Bill loved the outdoors, fishing and bowling. Visitation will be Thursday November 8, 2001 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. Services will be held Friday November 9, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary with Chaplin's Ronald Cok and Ruben Carlson officiating. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
