Jan Turano Ryan, 58, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2001. She is survived by her children, Michael A. Ryan and wife, Jennifer of Farmington, NM, Gregory L. Ryan of Grand Junction, CO, Christopher A. Ryan and wife, Kim of Gurnee, IL, Mary Angela Ryan of Chicago, IL, Kara M. Ryan of Farmington, NM, Gina T. Ryan of Philadelphia, PA, Matthew J. Ryan of Albuquerque, and George F. Ryan of Grand Junction, CO; grandson, Christian; parents, Angelo and Ruth Turano; and sisters, Judi Gregori, Joan Scriver, Jani Perkins, Jean Vondle and Juli Turano. Jan has touched the lives of many children through music, teaching private lessons and with the Albuquerque Public Schools where she currently taught orchestra. She is a member of Church of the Risen Savior in Albuquerque and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Farmington. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 13, 2001, 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
