Obituary for Rose

Elva L. Rose was born February 2, 1916 in Cass, AK and died January 4, 2001 in Aiea, Hawaii after a long struggle with Alzheimers. She was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and is survived by her sister, Erma Pinion; her son, Morris Rose; her daughter, Martha Wilson; two grandsons who are ministers, Timothy and Paul Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren. Elva retired from the Albuquerque Library system. She was a devoted mother and worked as a volunteer in church work for over 60 years. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Fair View Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM where her parents, Earnest and Janie Pinion and brother, Harold Pinion are buried.
