Jimmy "Jim" Ray Murray, 54, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 18 years, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2001. Jim was born July 9, 1946 the son of Jack and Esther Reifschneider Murray in Dodge City, Kansas. Jim came to New Mexico from Hutchinson, Kansas where he grew up. He is survived by his wife Candice of Rio Rancho, two daughters, Fawn Richerts of Lafayette, Indiana and Stephanie Hall of Neodesha, Kansas, two brothers, Patrick Murray and Gary Dean Murray of Kansas, three sisters, Marilyn Moore, Karen Jo Donovan and Linda Marie Holden all of Kansas, and three Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held for Jim on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
