Obituary for Monck

William F. Monck, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1985, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Sullivan and husband, Thomas of Farmington, Marijane Monck of Columbia, MD, and Susan Naylor ofAlbuquerque; son, William W.F. Monck and wife, Acacia, of Laguna; grandchildren, Kelly Monck, Megan Monck, Allison Naylor, Clayton Alsup, Kyle Sullivan, Gwendolyn Naylor, Dana Alsup, Christopher Naylor, Troy Sullivan, and Nickolas Monck. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Rita M. Monck in 1998. Mr. Monck was born in Brooklyn, NY, August 13, 1925. He graduated from Manhattan College in 1945 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Longtime MENSA member, he also received the IHPA Distinguished Service Award in 1999. Bill was an avid reader and storyteller who appreciated the finer things in life, including music, fine dining, and cinema. He believed in doing things first class all the way. Bill passed his knowledge and wisdom to all he could. Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 14, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Ghost Church, 833 Arizona NE, with Father Thomas Mayefske, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Saturday, May 12, 2001, 1:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m."Remember me as I will love and remember all of you." William F.
